Default DIY: Easy Installing adjustable End links Rod End boots

EI60VHc.jpg

Here's a simple DIY for installing Rod End boots onto your adjustable end links. Takes 10 mins.
I hope someone finds this DIY helpful down the road. No special tools required.

Tools:
2x 10mm spanners(I used 10mm and 11mm),
A screwdriver with a fat handle.

Method.
1. Slot the spanners from side holes through the bottom hole. As in the photo.

2. place the screwdriver handle between the spanners

3. squeeze both spanners end together with the screwdriver handle in place. Doesn't require much effort to make the opening big enough for the rod end to go into the boot.

That's it. use some lube if needed. I found hand soap helps to get the spanners out after the rod end went into place

Nice. It's been like 6yrs since I did mine. I didn't use tools, only my hands, but I might have soaked them in hot water for a bit. I inserted them from the top instead of the bottom.

Sorry about the PB pics.
