964 AC RETROFIT

964 AC RETROFIT
I own a perfect example of a 964 C4. A 1990 manual unit, 32,000 miles, just one previous owner, slate grey, mint condition, complete history and papers, from the receipt for the cash deposit when factory ordered, to the last service invoice invoice and the driving license of her owner. But... it does not have air conditioning and this is imperative for a regular use in my whereabouts (Spain).
I have been told that it is not easy to retrofit such equipment in a 964. Does anyone know of suitable alternatives? Any ideas? Many thanks in advance

I assume non-AC cars have the complete HVAC suitcase in the frunk, except it is missing the evaporator unit? Can someone confirm?
I'd probably go the Classic Retrofit electric AC route.

In addition to their kit, you would have to install an uprated alternator (sold by Classic Retrofit) and open up the HVAC suitcase and put a new evaporator coil in there.
