Burning Brakes
I had a local Tubes N Hoses location handle the replacement. They documented the hose curvatures and angle before disassembly so the new lines sit the same way as the originals. I think it cost around $450, and while I could have likely done that myself cheaper I felt having a professional complete it the easier option.

Respect anyone’s decision when they want to get some thing done professionally just letting you all know this was relatively straightforward and very rewarding

Very cool. Where did you source the hose?

Is there anything counter intuitive about the way the thermostat works in AC mode? On my 3h drive yesterday I ran the ac continuously, largely to defog during t storms, and was TOO cold. I kept nudging the thermostat up and up with relatively little effect on perceived temps. Am I missing something here?

I should have clarified - is there anything A/C mode unique that would not present in heat mode? Heat mode works perfectly, no error codes on CCU.

A dirty cabin air temperature sensor or failed CCU fan can cause this issue. As the CCU itself heats up over time it will think the car is getting hotter than it really is if the sensor hole is clogged or the fan isn't working to circulate air over the sensor.

What lines did you update? The long ones that go on top of the engine? Or somewhere else?
