As many of you know, I recently bought a new duck tail lid. The fitment is damn near OEM as you can see.





I took those pictures with the trunk just sitting there and not on the hinges. When I bolt up the trunk to the hinges, the driver side is perfect and the passenger corner, at the taillight, is about 1/4" high. How do I make that adjustment to bring down one corner? Would I use a washer or 2 at the hinge? If so, where at? Thanks for any help!

Found this information in an old thread and that sounds like what is happening. I will report back later.

"One thing I did note, was that if you don't try and get the hood latch aligned so it goes in straight, it will push up one side of the trunk and force it to ride high."

Adjust the hood latch, and if you have the little rubber stoppers at the lower corners of the duck-tail you can try adjusting them up/down as needed.
When putting my RSA tail/lid on I had to screw in the latch to pull the whole decklid slightly lower then adjusted the bump stop on the low side out ~1/4".

I'm no body work expert, but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night.
