Spa day

Boat anchor wheels

I love how fast the garage door open and close at the dealership

Kneel and bow to show respect. Also add pentosin juice for free since they won’t sell me any.

Looks nice. I am curious to your impressions of the 964 C4 vs the 993. I find they are in many ways similar and in others quite different.

Nice wheels although I am partial to the speedline look.

Thanks. Once i get the suspension sorted and work thru some minor kinks I’ll have a better feel for comparison.

The understeer is the largest ‘difference’ I feel at the moment. This car does not maneuver as quick or nimble as my 993 did.

I believe a 23 or 24mm rear H&R sway will dial out most of the understeer. I drove my brother's 993 C2 a fair bit and it feels more nimble. 964C4 is slower but feels more solid but I have not fully sorted out my 964 yet.

This clip popped up in my YT feed today. Oldie but a goodie.

Those massive rear trailing arms are slow at reacting. I prefer the lighter narrow body on the widebody cars myself. It also allows you to fit a much wider and deeper offset wheel in the rear. The 964 steering rack is also a bit slower and there is more play in the tie rods with the U bracket vs the ball joint of the 993. I actually prefer the slower rack but I am old and slow LOL.

Either way it is a great car. GL
