993 Brake Booster in 964 touches sway bar
Folks - I'm reassembling the front end with new parts, and I've done the 993 brake booster swap to pair with the larger Brembo GT brakes. I was also planning to use the 964 RS front sway bar, but when I mocked up the front clip, the lip of the booster touches the sway bar. Are there any sway bar alternatives that have a "jog" (as opposed to going straight across) that will give me a little extra clearance?

Ok well maybe not a sledge hammer. Just clearance the booster a touch, and try to with all the bolts loosened push it as far forward as you can. Its very tight but fits. The H&R bar does have a little "loop" in it there.

Bumping this thread because Im in the middle of it now with an RS Sway bar and 993 booster.
Does anyone have a photo of their "clearanced" booster? Some visual evidence of how much manipulation it can take would be reassuring.

Thanks Foxman. I do have the entire assembly and the only (other than mc/booster/etc) parts on the car are the crossmember and longitudinal, so it's easy to maneuver. Clearancing is the only current issue I need to address. I don't want to ruin the integrity of the canister doing so.

Here's what I ended up doing for future reference. It was a cringeworthy process, but hopefully all good.
964 RS Bar
24mm Powerflex Black Bushings
993 Master Cylinder, Booster, etc
964 Longitudinals and Crossmember
