Nice amount of work being done. It looks like it will be a great drive when done. Rothsport steering rack brace, tightens things up and will incrementally add some feeling to the car if you were not doing much else. With the KW's and a lowered ride height, you should get a better response in driving.
If you are looking for more neutral handling and tighter steering response then it makes sense to do a few things together with the suspension such as replace the sways or at least the rear one, and the inner tie rods. I think with those few things, you are well on your way to a great ride.

I did some polishing on the paint this weekend, and although not perfect, it looks considerably better than before.

Before.

Also, this got started.. My new workshop.

Here's a 3D drawing of what it will look like. We're still trying to work out how to get the car to hover in the air.

Thanks. I did replace the inner tie rods with the Elephant bump steering tie rod kit.
* Will consider the sways plus the steering rack brace after I put some time on the car.

No complaints at all about the quality of work from North Hollywood Speedo. The gauges came back looking like new. They are very busy, so the time to get an estimate was 2 weeks. I then had to wait another 6 weeks for the gauge face to be printed from somewhere overseas. For me this wasn't an issue as the car wasn't ready to drive, but something to keep in mind in case yours is a daily driver.

Price was high, but reflected in the quality of the work.

Looks great! Glad you went this route. Its a 30 year old car and suppose to have a story and carry a bit of patina.

Great job on the paint correction, what materials did you use?

I can't see any of the photos in this thread. Is everyone else able to?

Great work and inspiring! I happened to pick up a ‘90 c4 on Friday and like some of the little touches like shift **** and cup holder (not much use for my cassette trays&#128514 one thing that was already done on mine is the carbon heat duct replace. Adds a tasteful modern touch.

Got the car aligned this week. Very happy with the local shop I found.

Been making some progress on my new workshop as well.

Two thumbs up... like the grey wheels on red. Good look, but I’m also somewhat biased 😊. keep up the great work. Looks fun!

Some pictures of the hard top fitted. Still need to install the new window seals. Also need to get the rear defroster working and figure out what I'm doing for a third brake light.

Great progress on this car, and the hard top looks awesome! Does this tighten up the car at all and reduce convertible body flex?

Great stuff!
