I have had good luck with Griots Garage cup holders in both of my cars. I purchased the first one around 2000 and the second in 2007 when I bought the coupe. The cup holder will fold up when not in use. I have it positioned so that the passenger seat has full travel and holds the "large" soda cup from my favorite sandwich shop. I also leaves room to access the accelerometer on the center tunnel, although, I have never needed to access it.

I have tried the one from classicmotorshop.com. Works great for me and no hassle with Installation since its working with super strong neodym magnets.
