I just decided to sell it and purchase other things for my car instead.
In the last 2 weeks I bought 2 new front undertrays: $140 each (just pieces of molded plastic!!!) plus shipping The rubber seals and all the pins grommets etc I just added to the sills probably came close to $100 plus shipping. Brake pads: easy over $100 for both axles and I bought brake cleaner, 3 new wrenches and squeal reducing spray (didnt even use). I ordered 2 new wiper arms, caps, blades this week too, also over $100 with shipping. One trip to the local parts store on Saturday I bought a clay bar treatment pack thing for $25-30, a new extra large chamois leather $29, tire laquer $8, sponge thingies for the laquer $4.99, a new honeycomb fibre polish cloth thing $5...so over $80 with tax! New bonnet badge $35 plus shipping, new steering wheel badge $40 plus shipping, a new boot cover $75 plus shipping, a new front grille $20 (+$4 screws) a new horn $19.99 (plus a crappy one of Ebay that I junked) a new trunk carpet $70 (used)...the list is endless and this is just a snapshot in the last week or so well before before services, oil changes and incidentals! I would keep it on my car and cut back on a months detailing, LOL!
