Hi, I'm stripping the interior and completely retro king everything. Got the new carpets and currently doing dynamat and dynaliner.
My question is: where can I get aftermarket aluminium (aluminum in the USA) floorboards?
The Rennline ones only show the foot boards - the boards behind the pedals and slanted in the passenger foot well that you can put your feet against.
I want the actual foot boards that replace the ply (wood?) originals that lie flat on the floor. Appreciated in adance.

Too bad you aren't in the states. I have a set sitting here taking up space in my garage.
You could drive over and we could put them in the car and i could show you how terrible it is to have aluminum floors in a street car...

I honestly didn't notice any difference in cabin noise when I installed them in my car. This was with removing all of the sound deadening below the floor board as well. A lot of people will add dynamat under the floor boards, and I was planning on doing it if it was too noisy, but at this point I see no value.
I was also surprised how much better the pedal feel was with a solid floor board under foot compared to the factory solution. To each their own though

It seems some things may have been missing from my car MY 91 C2 Coupe. The wood piece behind the pedals was busted up so replaced with a Rennline one.
Nothing under the floor mats except the sound deadening is that the way it is or did something get tossed a long the way?

onceover: How thick is your pedal box plate? I had to reinforce my Rennline due to too much flex. I had fitted the original Porsche one right behind the aluminium one (sandwich them together). I like the feel a lot better now.
Thanks!

So- my advice- if you think you might like it, give it a shot, and if you end up not liking it, swap it back...easy enough. It's not like there is a performance gain- it's purely aesthetics.

I am looking for a drivers side as the carpet underneath/foam has really not aged well.
Would be very interested!

0.130”. No issues with flexing here
