I had mine cleaned and flow balanced after they had 80k miles on them. Subjectively the car ran better but that may have been wishful thinking. I figure these injectors don't get any cheaper so cleaning and flow balancing them was good insurance. It's not that expensive and it's good maintenance I think.

I rebuilt my fuel/intake system after having a backfire caused by bad plug wires. I changed all the rubber goods and sent my injectors to https://www.witchhunter.com
My car ran night/day differently. That was about four years ago and it still starts first time quickly, no hesitation, no lights, no christmas tree effects, nothing but smoothcruising performance.
If I remember correctly, I had one injector that was about 10% out and the others were 4-5% different. They send before and after test data and replace seals and other needed components. Cheaper than new injectors. Also, remember to change your fuel filter.
