That is ‘Bad Boy Bill’, and he is quite the character. Think it was one of the first turbos in Canada, if I am not mistaken...

Bill's story is a great one. That motor has been refreshed and rebuilt and been through lots of adventures and still goes. There are a few articles out on him and the car around. A good read.

I am at 148,000 so still playing catch up.

Sold my 3.2 at 230k miles and only have 85k on the 964. That makes me want to drive now

This is my aspiration. My 91 C2 (with 115k) is my Daily Driver and I have no intention of changing out. Aside from basic maintenance schedule, is there a ‘Best Bets’ list of tips to maximize the life and road worthiness? As I always tell my friends when they are surprised at driving a 911 year round - “They’re meant to be driven!”

Will get the gauge face replaced at some point.... maybe after another 230k!

I am not a member of this illustrious club but hope to be one day and am glad to see I'm not the only one with a speckled gauge face!
