At least no major damage... but now the while I'm in there may start.

One thing that would worry me is not knowing where the part comes from. You don't want to be back here in the near future...

I have to say, I wouldn't know how to proceed with this. Likely I would inspect all parts myself, even if just for the peace of mind.

In any case, I'm glad it's nothing serious.

I would definitely tack weld the pins on your planetary gear while it is out of the box.

10-4. We’ll be inspecting everything carefully and will tack weld the planetary gears.
