Eureka, nailed it.

The parts catalogue shows a square drive pin, rubber washer and screw (5,6&7)

1. remove the E clip on the outside.

2. remove the small countersink screw inside the shaft

3. remove the small rubber o-ring / washer that was under the screw

4. insert a small Allen key or similar inside the threaded part of the pin and draw the pin out.

5. Repeat on the other side.

6. Gently move the seat and mechanism apart to allow the small stub axle to come out between the seat and hinge.

7. Undo the cable going to the seat back

8. release the seat back from the base.
