Haha, easy for me to say, because I am not paying for it. But seriously, this an amazing project and you strike me as a perfectionist. You won’t regret it. This is really the perfect car.
Always looking forward to this thread.
All the best to you and yours and stay safe and healthy.

Really interested to see what you do for the GT3 exhaust as far as a balance of fitment and heat management. I'm guessing you have a skinny plate - which I'm sure helps.

@964.4L What is the projected final weight (all fluids and full tank of gas)?

What split did you go with on the GT LSD? Matt had mentioned a 35/65 but was considering 40/60.

Thanks buddy. It’s great you are enjoying the build. Still lots to do but all coming together now. Interior being trimmed and starting to fit it to the car next week. Will have some updates soon.

Keep well and stay safe.

It’s a good point. I am going to drive it for a bit and see what it’s like. But I am probably going to get that gold foil stuff and wrap certain areas of the undercarriage in it. Just not the cheapest stuff.

Geez....it’s hard to say. I have stripped every nut and bolt off the car and only putting things back on that are critical. I think with fluids and gas probably around 1,150kg’s. Once everything is installed in the car in a few weeks, I’ll be weighing it and will post the results here.

I’d be interested in what other people will think my car will weigh as I am only guessing?

I actually parked it temporarily as spent the money on a motec dash with data logging and a whole bunch of new sensors (GPS, brake pressure, wheel speed etc). Whoops. Will let you know if/when I push the button on the a/c.

Any analog gauges or only the motec dash? Engine tuning finished? Thank you for sharing with us!

Yeah, keeping all the old gauges. I love the original layout of the dash in these cars. But not sure where I am going to mount the motec dash yet. May make a couple of brackets - one for the steering column for when on the track, and one just above the centre console for the street.

Going to leave the final tuning for when in the car. Will also get some power runs done on a rolling road and finally answer the age old question - how much power is really lost in the drive train. I have never seen an accurate answer to this with legit data to prove it. Maybe someone else has? Some people say 15-20hp, others say it’s as high as 25% of power.
