Default Fuel Injector Seals

I have a fuel leak coming from the rail or injector and am preparing to pull. The Porsche PET only shows one seal (7.52 x 3.53) at the base and nothing at the rail connection. Can I assume that is the same seal on both ends?

Thanks,

Can i suggest that you not just put new seals on the injectors and reinstall...

The plastic intake stacks get very gunky inside. So when you pull the injectors, pull the intake stacks as well, and give them a thorough cleaning - or in all likelihood you could just have a leak when you insert the newly sealed injectors.

Since this takes time. Send the injectors to witchunter to be cleaned and flowed. Their turnaround is very quick, they will flow better and will come back with new seals.

I would look at this as a safety issue. Don't mess around w engine fires. And doing it this way, you cover potential vacuum leaks through the plastic intake stacks if you find they are cracked, and you get effectively new injectors. The service doesn't cost much either.
