Yep, it's peel-able paint, but looks the same as paint. You can cut it, buff it, wax it, etc. Auto flex was the original name, but now they have Autoflex Express out which is even better. Just google Autoflex and you can see the results. I don't like silver cars, but I also don't want to change the original color of my car at the moment so this is a great way for me to change the color temporarily.

Really interested in how this works out for you. Wouldn't mind doing this to the Guards Red car...... what's the estimated cost?

Wow that is very cool. I remember seeing something like this on IG but I thought it was a really thick wrap, I had no idea it gets sprayed on.

The cost to have it sprayed is around $2k. To do it yourself with your own compressor, gun, booth, etc. would be around $500-$700.

I most certainly will keep everyone updated.

The rims look meaty. Totally get the Volk inspiration. That black 864 photo is legend, and probably copied to many image folders around the world. Can't wait to see them on a wide hipped 964!

Can't wait to get them on. Going to start my narrow body trailing arm conversion sometime in the next week.

Thanks! I've contemplated this route over permanent respray as now Guards Red has grown on me.

I like Guards Red. I, however, am not a fan of silver at all. It's my least favorite color on any car - especially a sports car.

I’m with you. Silver is the most boring color. The light blue tint is the only thing that saves it for me.

I’m looking forward to your results as I want a more entertaining color, but don’t want to do a full respray.
