Default New Wheels (not for the purist)

My new wheels came in today after about a 3 month wait. Matte black with gloss black lips. Rotiform SIX in sizes 18x9.5 and 18x12. I understand these aren't in everyone's taste, especially to a Porsche purist. Feel free to share your opinions.

Interesting, I love the 964 in Silver! I have a new one-off set of Rotiforms in production, can't wait!

I like them, and for the record there’s nothing wrong with choosing something different. I’m looking forward to seeing them on the car.

Thanks and I agree. I was so close to pulling the trigger on some e88's, but I really wanted to go a different route.

Have to see them on the car. They look like a nicer version of the 5 spoke Enkei wheels although what offset are you using to fit 12's? Narrow trailing arms would make the hubs supper large and the wheels quite heavy or are you planning on using spacers as well?

They are on the heavy side at 24lbs and 27 lbs. I think so on the PC, but not positive.

I wanted something similar to the Volk TE37.

I will look up the offsets I settled on. If my calculations are correct, and I think they are, the wheels will fit perfectly without spacers. I am using NB trailing arms and the hubs are large. The wheels are on the heavy side, but I can deal with that for street wheels.

Great choice! Can’t wait to see them on the car. I love Rotiform wheels they have many great styles. It’s refreshing to see as there are an abundance of 964’s and e88 wheels.

Appreciate it and I agree - e88's look fantastic on the car, no doubt, but I wanted 12" wheels without the over-sized lip so I had to have some concavity in the design.

Someone posted the 10" Speedlines weigh 26 lbs, so 27 for an 11" isn't bad. I think Speedline centers are cast and since these are forged, the extra material isn't as heavy as one might think.
