Seems to work for most projects, I did notice that most track projects, however, went for the more involved conversion in the front of the car. Although mine will not be a track car, it will be high horsepower, with all the extra heat from the turbo, and since I live in Ojai, CA which regularly sees temps above 100 F, so I went for the front oil cooler. I will lose the ability to have a spare in the frunk, but other than that, and some new sheet metal, the appearance of the front bumper will be OEM. I'll send some more photos once it's in place.
Larry, it doesn't matter where the cooler is located, as long its doing cooling job properly. I found its easier to have a direct bolt on system from RUF.
This way my trunk stays original.

@Bruni I am planning 928 GTS 'big blacks' (aesthetic reasons) for front, but not planning anything for rears. You have any PDAS/ABS issues with your brake setup? Any PDAS/ABS issues with your wide body and staggered wheels? Looks awesome! Congrats! Regarding 2nd oil cooler location, concern was compromising the AC by stacking oil cooler back-to-back (eg. heat soak). But obvs, not a concern if you are AC delete.

You have to improve the rear breaks. These are not in balance with front. You are going to do this later anyway! No problems ABS or PDAS.

Front mounted 2nd cooler in place. There's approx 1.5" behind the cooler until you get to the new sheetmetal, which is angles slightly to increase our flow below the car.

Just completed the first dyno test at a very safe .8 bar. 430 torque/401 horsepower at the wheels. Going to put a couple thousand miles on the car at low boost before going up to 1.2 bar. First 100 miles car has been great. 3rd gear is scary fast once it starts to pull. Sound is exhilarating... coming off revs above 4500 with the air intake and pop off valve tucked behind the rear driver's side is addicting.

@lorezoh Engine is Fred at Valley European. Dyno test was stopped early because the engine destroyed the original motor mounts. Have since replaced with RS mounts, but car will not be going back to dyno until break-in period complete. Here's some photos of the underbelly before I drove away:
