Cup 1 Wheels - Original or Replica?

I'd say it's tough to say w/o a straight on shot of spacing between hub and lug nuts indents- the repop lug nut counter sunk holes are closer to hub area than OEM Cup 1's.

original cup 1s are very nice, look very 'right' on a 964, and are thus sought after by those wanting their car to be all original factory spec, even though not many 964's came out of the factory with 17 in cup 1's... but there are much better options for these cars from a driving performance point of view - stock cup 1's are quite heavy and do no favors for the car performance wise, and reps can even extract more of a performance penalty - crazy that a 17x9 in rear wheel can weight close to 30 pounds!

Nice looking (OEM) cups! Looks like they didn't mask off the hubs when powder coating. I've heard both sides of reasoning and chose to have mine masked off the last set I did. Hopefully you don't run into any problems.

They should have taped off the back pads, not sure but from the pic you posted, it looks like you have high spots of powder coating around the edges. That could prevent the wheels from seating properly and give you vibrations.

That concerned me as well. See two posts up.

Good spot, 100% correct. Powder coating on the contract surface - no no!
