Default Cup 1 Wheels - Original or Replica?

I have a 1992 964 C2 Cabriolet that came with what appear to be Cup 1 17”x7s and 17x9s. After removing them to be powder coated, they seemed to have all the markings of an original cup 1 wheel on the interior spokes, ie., made in Italy, size and offset, stamps etc. they don’t have the offset stamped on the rim by the valve stem however.. Do only original cup 1s have this marking? Any other indicators to tell if they are aftermarket?

Do they have the part number on the inside of the spokes? There were reps made in Italy, so it could be that if no part number present.

Any pics?

The way i tell is if they have the width and offset by the valve stem. But they may have been shaved off during refinishing?
Most definite way is to check for the part# on the back of the wheel.

They do have a part # . Looks like GK-AIS17Mg0.4. This is right above size and offset. A triangle symbol is between them.

That’s not a part number. Do you have something like this?

Yup, that is on another spoke. Looks just like that. I think the markings were polished off years ago. They were chromed also but I had that removed for powder coating....

Do you have a pic of the entire wheel set?

Well, they definitely look to be OEM cups. Nice!

You could always weigh them to double check. Aftermarket wheels should weigh more.
