Blueprinting is a misnomer. The 964 motors have a lot of tolerance that was reduced considerably with the 993 and can be taken far further. The 993 also has a balanced crank eliminating the need for the harmonically balanced pulley. Unless you are going to do a machine fit vs slip fit 3.8 and really get into everything needed to increase the rpm's IMO it isn't worth spending the money.

just an amateur here--- all I know is that Jae was meticulous and bill at xtreme applied years of research in honing and reworking the heads: dema Elgin was every bit their equal when grinding the cans.
