Default Alarm Activating

car is an ‘89 and the alarm just started going off intermittently when the car is locked. Battery tests good and have also read threads about the door pin lights blinking once or twice quickly based on how the key is turned in the door...that doesn’t seem to change my door pin blinking as both sides only blink once. Perhaps a bad interior sensor? I’ve read a few threads about that but none that detail where it’s located and how to remove and replace.
TIA.

I had this problem and it was a short in the front hood light. It would come on intermittently with the hood closed. You can check this by touching the hood outside above the light. It will be warm if it is on.......

I had it, water from sunroof drains leaking into the front foot well.

Thanks, I’ll give’em a good shot of compressed air and check for leaks.
I have a feeling it’s a faulty frunk position switch...
