Amazing.
Car looks like liquid metal. Like the terminator, but more friendly.

Nice pictures; thanks for sharing! Were those pictures from up in Marin near Stinson Beach?

nuthin fancy - just h&r springs and bilstein hd's... but for fun, i used h&r's stiffer turbo springs in the rear, and their regular, slightly softer carrera spring in front

this is not a car with any tracking aspirations, just a fun canyon runner, and for that purpose this setup is terrific

Wow, incredible pictures, and really sweet car. Don't see too many 964's in silver.

Appreciate the interior pics. Servers as inspiration for a future project. Rear side and deck carpet install looks clean, did you shape the padding below the carpet? What is a good price that I should be shooting for the seats. Much want!

Udo - no need to reshape the padding below the carpet. Seats with proper hardware (BK side mounts, seat belt mount adapters, Recaro sliders) are about $3200 for the pair. Stable Energies in NJ (site sponsor) is a good source and have good year end sales, for 15-20% off.

These cars benefit so much from weight reduction. Helps in so many ways, from engine response, sense of lightness at speed, car dancing over road imperfections... look forward to seeing what you do to your blue beauty!

Looking at your interior pictures. Where can I purchase the rear seat deletion kit with the nicely made carpet and covering pieces? It looks like a super clean installation. Is this a Porsche factory part?

Beautiful car and excellent photography! Is that Zermatt silver? A Rennlist member a while back had a 964 Turbo in what appeared to be that color. As another poster noted, it does look like the “liquid silver” paint they put on modern Audis.

Are you sure those Speedline reps aren’t 18 inch? They certainly look like that to me.

Although I can appreciate the desire to save weight, I would encourage you to put back the spare tire, as it is an important part of the car’s front end collision protection aystem. I say this as someone who walked away from a heavy front end collision in my now former 964 and have seen the impact that the spare tire took (rather than me).

Here is my new (to me) 964 with 18 inch Veloce Speedline reps. Best of luck!

Pole Position seats can be had a bit cheaper if you shop around. The PP seats linked below are $1900 and $2k plus shipping. Figure another couple hundred dollars for the seat rails, sliders and other handware.

Keep in in mind that PPs are pretty narrow. Probably max 38 inch waist size to be comfortable. Recaro SPGs have a similar look and come in an XL size.

That looks like the AppBiz RS carpet kit, which several Rennlist members have installed in their 964s. See: https://rennlist.com/forums/964-foru...install-4.html
