Here is how I connected the radar detector. It is connected via a piggy back fuse holder. Position #28 rear window fog etc. Note car is ROW.

Anyone know what fuse you can piggy back off of? Or if an empty fuse has switched power?
I do not have any radio interference. Then again, I removed my radio in the dash and installed a Bluetooth directly to the amp underneath the passenger seat. Works like a charm.

Can anyone elaborate as to where I can run the wire from inside of car to frunk? I dug around a bit in passenger footwell but no access port was jumping out at me.

I ran power through an existing grommet located above the pedal cluster which feeds into the frunk down by the bottom of the driver's side of the fuel tank. You need skinny arms/hands to get the grommet out and back in successfully, but it worked for me after much contorting and frustration.

Tom-

Thank you. Did you run wire along driver's side windshield as well and have the detector up by rearview mirror?

Unfortunately I can only give advice for getting through the firewall - I did it for getting fresh power to an amp under the passengers side seat.
