I wonder where Rotiform got the idea for this new wheel from?

@jeff33702 - Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. Dan Pye and the folks at Augment Wheels should be happy. I am so glad they were willing to cut the wheel and help me with a tribute design to the "old steelie" don't think Rotiform's wheel will take a hubcap though

This is a project that cannot seem to find an end date. It has been way too long since I provided any sort of update in regards...primarily as it has been two steps forward, 1 step back. Makellos has been great at working through a number of issues from the previous shop that at every turn rear their ugly little heads. This has delayed many other aspects of the project, however I wanted to share a couple of details to point to the direction this car is hopefully heading towards within the next few months. (the devil is in the details.

@rkwfxd thank you....hope to have more soon

@spartansix I had been asking the same for a while but finally got some today from the shop

There is a little hot spotting, but what troubles me is the two smaller guages have light bleed through the center...should be able to correct as they left the center hole without blackout tape.

Wow I love the gauges, nice touch! Although I do look forward to seeing some professional pictures of the finished product to really take it all in

I live in a fantasy world where someone, somewhere will make aftermarket gauge faces with OEM quality backlighting....

I just dropped mine off for paint. My car will not be as custom or detailed as yours but it will be nice when I am done.

Here is my thread.

That's probably very achievable. I dropped mine off at Noho Speedo and when I did it was very difficult to read what the LED display in the OBC, especially in daylight. Now, it is perfectly legible all day and night (and I have a cab in SoCal so that includes middle of the day, blazing hot direct sun on the OBC, no problems at all reading it).

" We can rebuild her. We have the technology. We have the capability...Better than she was before. Better, stronger, faster." Gisele is on the move...and under her own power

She has taken a temporary leave from the good folks at Makellos to start the interior work. While beautiful on the outside, it is whats inside that counts right? First stop is with the good folks at La Jolla Audio, where Scott and his team have will work their auditory magic. From there to Tony and the team at Autobahn. I can almost see the light at the end of this very long, previously dark tunnel.

Not much to see here yet, but there will be some fun surprises...as indicated from the Tractive shock reservoir. I hope to keep this updated a bit more frequently now that there should be some photo worthy changes.
