New in 964 world, have had some other Porsche like 911 sc, 930 and 928
Have bought a 964 Carrera 4 project car that missing some parts and engine was started disabled (do not know history, car have been stand still long time).
I have disabled engine and look like there are some burn marks between cylinder and head, car is a 89 year and have read that this engine has been change at later years.
What upgrade have people done with similar engine? see pictures, Thanks for answer.
From what I have read Steve Weiner-RennsportSystems is the goto guy on adapting the old style heads to use the new style head gaskets He posts on this forum often. He probably will chime in soon
