Default Recaro sr3

Bought a pair of sr3 recaro, half leather.
this is the 4th set of seats I'll be trying in my 64.
question, seat belt mounts?
ordered rs belt mount, this fit under seat rail, is the seat belt mount noticeable?

When sat in the seat, ca you tell that 1 point is higher?

The seat belt mount lies between the seat and the tunnel and really can’t be seen unless your looking for it. It’s a tight space.

You raise an excellent question about the uneven fit with the RS belt mount. It may just be a princess and the pea thing. But Brey Krause’s R-9005 tunnel side seatbelt anchor kit includes a spacer plate for the opposing side. It’s a quality stainless steel product made right here in the USA.

Here’s a good photo that shows where’re the tunnel side belt anchor is positioned on the driver side. You can see from the passenger seat that the mount isn’t visible once it’s installed (unless your peering into the valley between the seat and tunnel).

Them pics are useful, you used spacers on the 3 other mounting points so the seats level.

Think I'll do the same, waiting on the rs mounts to arrive from Germany, be here tommorow.
£58 with delivery for the pair.

Yes, well, actually only in 1 spot each seat. The seat riser to slider has 4 bolts each (2 per end) so 8 bolts total.
I used washers grade 8 (hardened) of same thickness as the RS flange. But, I also have a bar for the center 6pt harnesses that is the same thickness that connects the 2 front mount points. So the washers are only on the rear outside mount point. Make sense? :-) That bar is a Brey Krause 9035 sub bar. It sits between upright and slider, just like the RS seatbelt adapter.
The sliders are also bolted with 8 bolts to the chassis.
What is not showing in these pictures is the gusseting and reinforcement of the chassis seat mount points my shop did when I had the interior stripped.

What Sperx said What you see on the front rails is just the mounting points for the BK R-9035 sub bar. Front to back doesn't matter so much as you adjust the angle of the seat to your liking. And I just discovered last night that unlike the 993, the BK sub bar won't fit on the 964 driver's side without interfering with the Motronic. Doh...
