You just said you are going to regret selling it.

I know you have another kid on the way...but come on now. Unless you intend to immediately allocate the money to another good investment-you already have that money parked in a good investment!

Tell the wife- "honey, it's the college fund. I'm keeping it"

Agree but it all depends on your expectations. Mine are pretty low but I always had success selling stuff. Just take it easy on the first email - don't lose too much time.
It's easy to spot a homeless bull****ter trying to buy a Gallardo with $1k down

I also find entertaining replying to plain straight emails such as "what's the lowest" with stuff such "Your mother" or "your sister is the lowest I have seen" etc.
Also did I mention you should part with those LM?

I will 100% regret it. I'm all over the place to be honest.

I'd trade you my cup 1's but I'm still truck poor from buying that Pro. Also I have no idea how the hell to ship wheels with tires still mounted.

This is easy. Cut cardboard (the thicker the better, or 2 layers) the size of the wheels. use some thin foam padding between cardboard and wheel. Wrap in tape to hold it all. Wrap in shrink wrap. More tape around tires. Ship.

You can get all that at a U-Haul store. Maybe $25 in supplies give or take to ship 4 tires.

On the car, I mean, at 60k you're pretty dear for an 89 C4, and you'll get lots of tire kickers on CL. Car looks nice. I think you could get high 40-low 50 on BAT or via private party if patient. Just being realistic.

Chicago craigslist is the worst when it comes to lowball. Always asking for huge discount upfront, i dont bother talking to anyone till they come look at it in person.

Go to your local wheel shop and ask them if they have any leftover boxes. I did this with the CUP 2 wheels sold a few weeks ago, no cost and great fit.

I know the car isn't worth 60. I'm just weeding people out.
