Default Tiptronic transmission mount

Can I change the transmission mount for a tip without dropping the engine? Sorry if this has been asked before but tips don't get much press here

All though I am not 100% certain I would guess yes you can change the tips rear mount with out an engine drop. There are 6 or 8 bolts that hold the mount to the chassis. It has been a couple of years since I dropped my engine. It would be pretty easy to find out by supporting the end of trans and slowly lower it to see if there is enough clearance. If not the engine drop is fairly easy and in reality doesn’t take that long

You can also drop the rear engine mount nuts as far as they will go but still hold the engine in to assist.
