See below for photographs of the engine mounts on my recently purchased C2 Cabriolet. Based on other posts, I am assuming that these are shot and ready for replacement. Looking for suggestions on OEM, RS or others. Car is intended to be for fun sporty driving on the street. Unlikely will have any real track time. I am also upgrading suspension as the current ride feels like a lowered VW bug. Going with a package similar to the Elephant Racing street setup, but with Öhlins road and track coil overs.
I ran RS mounts for years and just went back to the regular mounts. There is considerably less noise transmission with the regular mounts. Since I never track my car, I am going with comfort - getting old.
I installed RS engine mounts in my 964. I had Rennline Tuneable engine mounts in my 993. If I had my time again I would have installed the Rennline in my 964. Much nicer and tuneable, plus once you add up the whole cost of the RS mounts including hardware the cost is difference is small.
All good suggestions although for a street car especially a cab all you need are fresh factory mounts. Any time you add stiffness to the engine support system it detracts from the original factory ride quality. Unless you want that sporty aggressive feel the semi and sold mounts will (as mentioned) send vibrations through the tub which some don't like. Especially a stiffer tranny mount. If you don't plan to track it the stock support is adequate. IMO based on tracking 964's for over 20k miles I never seen the need for the upgraded bracket and if cracks are observed at the ends (where they fail) it can be easily reinforced with welding steel plates instead of the pricey rennline part.
My dedicated track car i use solid mounts and have reinforced my factory support and it does a very nice job but you feel everything through the seat of your pants.
Agreed with most of above. I will add that while not necessary for a street car, there is nothing wrong with adding lightness and strength to a major support areas especially if you're stiffening the rest of the car (coilovers.) Personally, I won't build another 964/993 without the Rennline tubular carrier. I use their mounts (stiffest insert) and a poly transmission mount and it's the perfect balance of comfort and performance for me. If you're going with Ohlins, I would think this setup would pair nicely.
Depending on which Ohlin you are considering you might consider Motion Control Shocks as well they might be a bit more comfortable on the street. Although you will only get so much stiffness out of a cab. The more you stiffen everything I find the more body flex becomes apparent.
Thanks for the suggestions. I recognize that a cab will have certain limitations, but that is the model that I always wanted. I am looking forward to the journey of ownership. Will update as I select an option and install.

Nothing wrong with a cab or targa. Although every change has a series of pros and cons that can be costly if we go too far. Enjoy it. Nice thing about the cab is the engine sings a little louder especially with the top down.
@tjb616: does the rennline tubular carrier fit the 964 3.6? I scanned their site and came away thinking it was only for older models and the 964 had to use their carrier reinforcement option.
Thanks tjb, not sure how I managed to miss that. :/
Also, back on the original topic: FIW I have had good luck with the Uro motor mounts as replacement for failed stock mounts. It's an inexpensive and basic rubber mount available at Pelican (and probably others). 'Not hydraulic like the factory parts but seems to work well. Not too stiff but vastly better than the failed ones I had on before.
Put 993 mounts on my '92 cab and they work great. Cost less too.
Not a track car.
Funny - I kind of liked how the clutch engaged with a noticeable subtle thud until I realized it was the worn out motor mount bottoming (topping?) out.
