Classified section needs specific pricing, model, etc. This and the 993 forum seem to make more sense to me. Both forums have the specific, targeted owners that may have what we are looking for.

You didn't mention coupe, targa or cab, C2 or C4 manual or tip. Not many Coupes imported and very few left most of what is for sale has a history.

Even with a bad engine your wish list is going to be hard to find at reasonable money for a 964. A 993 would be easier to find.

Good points, only looking for a manual coupe and not interested in non US cars. 993 would be just fine, but wouldn't mind paying a bit of a premium for a 964. We understand the price points currently for the two models.

Probably easiest to just call Tim Holt at Holt Motorsports. No affiliation but I'm sure he has what you're looking for and you might not find a stronger reputation for selling great cars.

I disagree. I "found" my 964 C2 Coupe three years ago posting a WTB ad in the Classifieds here, the Bird, PCA, etc. The car I ended up buying was not even for sale. The owner did not follow the 964 list here on RL....
