I used a circuit breaker instead of a fuse. I am still working on the car and didn't se the need to mount it so rigidly. There is no torque associated with its running. Mine is not as loud.

I don't have any pictures of it finished but I used SS braided lines with a 2500 PSI burst pressure. Unit is mounted to the support on the left with additional manufactured supports. I wanted it off to the ide incase I chose to install a cool suit in the future.

I can report that the upgrade was worth it. Nice steering feel.

Rainy day at LimeRock today but getting to do a shake down nonetheless.

Bumping this up. I might have an opportunity to go electric, and I’m wondering about real world usage.

The videos make the pumps seem very loud. How bad is it in car?

Any issues with using a lightweight battery?

Any cons or regrets?

You can see pics in my build thread
It's not loud at all in use
I use with a light lithium battery with no issues.

Thanks. Did you notice any difference in the steering feel or is it identical?

Parts are on the way. Should I take the leap? Probably should’ve decided that before ordering but the engine is out for something else so now is a prime opportunity.

No regrets. I think feel is more consistent. It feels good and right.
