Here's something I haven't seen in a long time from this group - how about some in car track footage? It's winter in most Rennlisters home towns - but down here in sunny South Florida - it's still 70F outside and we're still driving!

This is a clip of me chasing down and passing a 996 at Moroso Motorsports Park on 4-JAN-04. As you can guess from the presence of a passenger, I'm still a still a student driver so don't be too cruel if I don't hit every corner perfectly!

Hi Terry, that was a fun video to watch!

That 996 is pretty fast- it seemed to be able to pull you pretty well on the straights. Get rid of that co-pilot and you might have the pull to keep up!!! That 200 extra pounds!

The clip starts out in the exit of turn 6

As he goes through 9 & 10 - you can see the power of the 996 as he more or less walks away from me

The 996 was lifting in the front stretch through turn one - you'll see me close up quite a bit through there - I stayed flat on the gas touching the curbs left and right. I've got Pagid Orange pads in the car and I can brake a lot later and harder on the entrance to turn two - so I was just kinda sitting back and playing follow the leader.

He drove a nice line through 2-5 and it was fun following.

I think he was driving with his mirrors when we got to turn 6 because his entry is all messed up and I'm on the inside of him by the time he gives me the point by. ....so it was a bit awkward, and I was concerned that I'd track out of the turn into his door!

....Overall, it was a lot of fun!
