Default OT: Le Mans DVD / Porsche

Guys,

just got the Le Mans DVD with Steve McQueen.

I hadn't seen the film for over 20 years but it it's great - all over again ...

I love the black 911 2.2 S that he drives in the opene scene and love the 917 's they drive as part of the Le Mans race.
Best of course is the fact they win over that crappy italian stuff

And while we might lament that they didn't put any extra's from the original filming on the DVD, they did do a marvelous job cleaning up the print from the available VHS version.

It's only £7.99 at Amazon UK .
Afraid it's $16.99 at Amazon US
Buy it, at least 80% of the film is track footage.

And if you click on the above links to make your purchase it will link-thru johns964web and thus help to support the site! (sorry John, already bought mine months ago! - although I have just changed my links to ensure all my future Amazon purchases will link thru the site!) :-)

Cheers,

You obviously saw one of the "older" versions of the movie.

Yet another reason to buy the DVD !!
