S2K Crash
Be thankful it was a car.
Many years ago, I was an avionic technician in the Royal New Zealand Air Force. Some people equated Air Force with pilot, and a friend of a workmate evidently took it as gospel as he invited me out for a fly and tried to show off, nearly killing us in the process; more specifically, he tried a drop wing stall in a small plane, stuffed it up and flipped the plane on its back and only just recovered before we hit the deck. After the flight he said it had been close, but he was sure I wasn't worried as I must have been in far closer shaves in my flying career......um no!

I must be a ***** then,
A mate of mine took me for a drive in his X5 a while back, he was on about how much acceleration this beast had and I must admit I was impressed, However, about ten minutes into the drive it became a little more than just a quick spin around the block and we ended up bulleting down a country road, trying to prove to me that his X5 could actually corner better than my P'car, Ok, so it probably can, but her, It just got too bloody much ....
"Ok, If you're gonna drive like a ****, stop the car, let me out and I'll still be able to identify you on the slab later" ........
He drove me home (decently), and we have not spoken about the drive since. He's a nice chap and all that, but hell, enough was enough!
I have to say though, I reckon the X5 is pretty fast for such a big vehicle!!

The front clip is twisted, though the motor is fine
