Default New Owner Oil leak

hello
after much cleaning we can see where oil is leaking on the drivers side of the motor.
it is a pretty good leak. The photos don’t show a lot of oil since we cleaned everything and this is what we see the next morning

photos included here

any tips on what I can do next to isolate the leak?

thanks

The shiny drop bead is where the oil ends up

Those are the timing chain boxes, also have oil lines for chain tensioners.

Some light reading from a classic thread. http://perelet.com/cars/porsche/leaks_thread/1.html It shows you what I think you want to see.

Clean and monitor it for how much it is really leaking. There are multiple places for leaks around the timing chain boxes. Perelet only dealt with half of them. There is also the seal where the cam enters the box, and the junction of the box to the case. Ricardo did them all, but that requires re-timing the cams.

I ultimately pulled the motor and fixed ALL the usual 3.6 leak suspects.....
