Default Ccu Fan question

Does anyone know
Which direction should the ccu fan rotate? Please excuse my artistry 😁
In my drawing F is front of the ccu R the rear The fan blades in the little squirrel cage are curved as shown the fan rotates the direction of the arrow. I’m my mind it would move the air more efficiently if the fan rotated the other direction.

Thank you you in advance 😎

Your drawing is correct, the blades aren't scooping the air but throwing the air out as the suction is from the middle of the fan. There's a rotation arrow on the metal back of the fan.

Thank you Mojo I appricate the response. I don’t have my ccu in the dash and was just watching to see if the ccu fan work and stopped as it is supposed to never thought of looking for rotation arrows 👍

We need a 964 parts hack thread based on that saving alone.

Good call John !
I've been looking for a friend to find an alternative for the HVAC servos.

I'll start a thread based on Bosch direct replacements I have found/used....

I’m subscribed. I have a pile of gifted unserviceable servos, which I’ve yet to pull apart. All of mine work so it’s not a priority.
