Not sure why, but about half your pictures aren't working. Looks like a great starting list of mods. Also re: your exhaust setup, that does sound like mine did with a secondary bypass and stock cat. A little louder now with a cat bypass as well. If you can try to post more pics of the cat, we might have a better guess at it.

GTM recently posted the same comment. Dang, I see everything, so I need to figure out how to trouble shoot that (moderator help?!)

Thanks for the feedback. I'm sure I'll get used the the noise level, and add a cat bypass in a couple months.

^^^ nice pics of the exhaust. If it helps, the Cat looks stock with all the regular fittings. A swan neck secondary by pass. My NZ spec is M150 with no cat. The cat looks the same as yours, except when you take it off the car, you can look straight through the cat from one end to the other.

Are you keeping the understray? I know most take it out to let the motor cool better.

The G-pipe is indeed a Omega pipe.
The reason for all the thumps up for the blue car and not for the grey one might be a quite different one.
The blue one looks OEM, the grey one had a certain distinct look on it that not many people fancy.

Please keep it as it is, the car hat Stil, machs nicht kaputt.

Someone already did the hard work. Nasty job.

It’s off now. Gets too hot here in the summer. Nice to have it though.

You know me! Tried to install a 93 chip this weekend, but the Wong chip is 2 mm wider? Will discuss with them on Monday. Easy job, with no seat removal required.

You are right. Good insight. The blacked out wheels and accessories looked mean. First impressions!

With this car I tell people, “welcome to 1991”. They smile, and really take it in. It’s a nice reaction.

Yes, leaving the exterior alone, just sharpening the mechanicals.

Has this happened to anyone else?
I tried to install a 93 oct Steve Wong chip, and it's too wide?! The Wong chip is almost 2 mm wider than the stock chip...

Wow! Didn’t know you sold the slate grey. Many congrats on the purchase. Love the interior. At a glance, it almost looks like a Maritime RS (one of my favorite colors). Driving this to Rennsport Reunion?!

Agreed, which is interesting as I had just taken it out of its little protective packaging box. Didn't want to force anything to fit.

In low level evening garage light, it totally looks Maritine. Love it.
No West coast Rennsport Reunion for me this year.

Had that happen with many vw chips back in the day. Just bend them straight to match stock and make sure the pins are all in the holes when you install it. It'll be fine.
