Seat belt and Airbag lights are ON
anyone have this problem?
anyone know how to resolve?
it started the other day and won’t turn off.
Checked the fuses under the frunk and nothing is out and the cover doesnt say any fuses are there for seatbelt or Airbag.
Need some expert insights.
Thanks

Take a look at your clock, circuit boards have issues with the solder joints. Find a shop with a Bosche hammer and get the codes read and reset. Adrian Streather's book has some good information.

I had my clock and speedometer gone through recently by Seattle Speedometer. So far so good, if I have any more issues I will be cleaning the crash sensors next.

I replaced my clock, but still have the issue. Seems the crash sensors are the culprit, but I’ve not been able to make any progress. This is a common problem, but Keep us updated.

I am still working on it....but I hear that
"Even if you fix it, you need to RESET with . Bosch Hammer" or the lights stay on....so it is hard to tell if you Fixed it without the tool to reset the system.
Is that accurate?

Yes, you need the hammer to reset the lights and read codes. I tried to have mine reset by a shop that uses a laptop tool with out success.

The Rennlist Scantool freeware with opportunant serial adapter is a cheap alternative to an original Porsche OBD tool as the Hammer.
This will enable you to read out the fault code that is causing the warning light, rectify the fault and reset the code to extinguish the warning light.
Cheers,
Tore
