cup mirrors definitely impart a more modern look but on a 964 one could go either way as the body style is 'in between' the clearly egg shape modern cars starting w 993 vs the clearly antique cars like SC or g body...

there is a certain charm to the flag mirrors... reminds you that these cars, though often redone and refreshed, are still true historic porsches

It's too early in the year to be saying you don't have any more mods planned for the rest of the year!
The mirrors and caps are both nice touches.

Absolutely! We have a long way to go to catch California, but perhaps in due time! Bring all the Porsches to Texas!!

I agree - i was on the fence quite a bit about them, but decided i liked the uniform color of the Aero's vs. the black on the flag mirrors. I can always switch back if i ever decide i want to go that route.

LOL - that is a very true statement... but i think the 964 mod budget has been exhausted - the next mods are all pricey and i'm in no rush

So finally have some time and just sitting here thinking about all the little things i have done this year till this point so figured i would update this thread.

I continued to dial in the suspension further and finally have that in a good place.

Added clear corners and amber LED's

I changed up the front emblem to a "german flag" looking one:

Installed a RUF front lip and arotiform windshield banner:

Got some coco mats as well:

I have a few more mods planned in the coming weeks. The interior has been pulled from the car and is at the upholstery shop currently. Very excited to get that back and installed. Here is how she sits currently:

Here are a few shots from the last few months that i liked:

Love the car!!! Quick question, where did you go to have your radio stuff sorted? (I live in Fort Worth, TX). I have some similar things going on with excess amplifiers and wiring that I'd like to clean up. Also, I want to get those air intakes! Thanks in advance.

DOH.... continued reading the thread and realized you are in Houston...not DFW! hahah. Love those wheels. What are the size and offset? I'm guessing they are Rotiform?

Best,
Eric ('91 C4 Cab)

Thanks!!

Sal's Autosport in Houston did the audio work - Oscar/Sal are great guys and have done great work on all of my cars since i moved to TX in 2009. They did the paint and install on the intakes as well, so it could potentially be a one stop shop for you if you dropped the car with them.
