Affirmative on the ticket price causing the goodness gracious. I'm not cheap but when I consider +$5.5k being a good % of the overall value of my car, it gives me pause.

I like the look of the fifteen 52s (a lot) but they are pricey as well. in the end you usually get what you pay for. In the end wheels are a personal preference and while it is good to seek guidance and input no one can tell you what looks right to you. I am sure when I finally get my wheels on my car, a majority of folks will say it is ugly or not their style...that's fine with me cause it is my style. Also the search function here on RL is fairly good especially if you are searching this specific forum for things like offset, tire size etc. as there have been numerous threads on it.

Some things that are certain in life:

* everything's always for sale.....
* quality always holds it value. Holds true for E88's
* nothing wrong with a GP White 964 with flag mirrors - but, then again, I'm a bit biased
* when Mooty is selling, you should REALLY considering buying it.

I really dig flag mirrors on the earlier 964's, no joke.

I'm going through the motions now of finding wheels to buy. Started a conversation last night. Thanks for the recommendation Jim4life.

Mooty also seems to sell high end spandex favored bike parts too. Do you have any new or neused wheels I may be interested in?

I’m a fan of the Fifteen 52’s and they’re still on my list of potential wheel purchases. I love the BBS LM’s but finding a nice set in silver with 17” size appears to be a needle in a haystack.

Good luck with the search and I’m looking forward to seeing what you get.

What Cup style are these and do they appear factory? I'm having a look in the coming weeks, looking at their backsides to determine widths......... but until then...........

What is your opinion?

I'm 95% settled on a set of new wheels. Just taking my cool off period first.

By the way..... the mess on the asphalt underneath the car is not my mess....... it's from a beater Pathfinder that usually parks there. LOL..........

These are 17” Cup II wheels which originally came on the 993.

Does ET 18x11 ET56 fits the rear of a NB 964?
BBS LM are also another option.

i love the E88s but I’d be afraid of driving magnesium on the roads where I live.

I just got my first 964 and am going through the same thing. I went with the fifteen52 in matte black, and they were cheaper than my second choice E88’s. I copied another RL’ers setup for wheel/tire size and am hoping it works! I went with 17” for a better ride on crappy Detroit roads and more room for error in fitment.

Good luck.
