Default Tool Storage Bag Idea

There is a thread in the 993 forum discussing a storage bag to store the various tools like tire jack, tire wrench etc that do not fit inside the tool roll that comes with our Porsche.

In the past I have stuck them between the front of the trunk and the spare tire.

But it drove me nuts every time I took out the spare tire to remove the battery for winter storage, all the tools would fall out.

I found a Klein leather tool case that neatly solves the problem.

I have the 18" one but it is a bit tight for some of the tools the 20" is probably better.

I think it looks great too.

Agree - great looking option to finish off the bonnet. Where did you 'find' this? The Klein website says "Currently, there are no e-commerce partners that have this product available."

That option looks really nice.

If anyone is looking to explore similar or more tailored options, I have had great experiences working with leather workers from Etsy. They will generally make you whatever you are after to order, to size, color, etc. I have had laptop sleeves, watch rolls, etc made with great success.

The Klein looks great. I ditched the OEM tool roll for a Deus Mark X, pretty nice alternative as well.

I use a Stanley cordura gladstone type bag I got on sale 20 yrs ago for $20, not as sexy as thick leather, but lots of inner pockets and very durable.
