carpet options
have seen a few 964's with the i guess it would be called 'plush'(?) optional carpetwhat other carpet set were available...then and now... thanks in advance, kk

Ironically, carpet is still a dealer item, problem is, they are so old the backing is crumbling on the 3 sets I saw in my color (Cobalt). Appbizz if you google it does nice Silverknit and will ship, reasonable but I have not seen the backing.

I installed the Lakewell “Sliverknit” kit a few years ago. I’ve seen the Appbiz kits in other cars. After a bit of accidental damage to my Lakewell kit I was back in the market. I just got the Southbound carpet. Their Sliverknit matched the factory originals and their patterns are spot on (comparatively my Lakewell kit seemed like a mix of 964 and 993 patterns). The Southbound Sliverknit carpet is totally worth it if you need a partial kit, few sections, or replacing the whole thing, IMO. Doesn’t seem like all ‘OEM’ Sliverknit is equal in quality or authenticity.
