Next I'm going to replace the crappy old scuttle seals!

first I loosened these 2 bolts

Then started pulling the old ones out

What a mess!

Im in two minds about replacing them now it looks so good without them!

Agreed! It's great to have a second pair of eyes and someone to talk things through with before stuffing it up! Unfortunately she isnt interested in doing the other side with me! Was quite tedious to get it right!

Now it's time to replace the cv boots

First i cracked the 32mm axle nut

Then got the car on the new jackstands, made sure to put the wheel under the car incase of an earthquake or anything!

This will do me for today!

Good practice!
I was taught, never get under a car unless you have two points of support.

Earthquakes or not...

Hi Dingo, good job. I’m about to do this next week. What do I need to disconnect to get the shaft on the bench? I’m worried I have to do the alignment again.
