Hi Kev,

I'm still here mate!

We did have some seriously opinionated people on here in the early days, I think it's changed for the better.

Hope you're well?

Joined Dec 2003, bought my car in Mar 2007. I read everything I could on this forum for years before I worked up the courage to buy a 964, and then start posting.

The 964 was what Porsche was producing when I first visited the factory during summer vacation while in college. It was the only 911 I wanted and it has rewarded my very, very well. So naturally I eventually found this forum. Over the years the level of posting and the types of personalities and contribution levels have fluctuated. It seemed more technical back then, with people really creating a lot more technical threads and content. I miss that, but that's what the search function is for. There is so much gold on this forum from past threads it's absolutely amazing. I c/wouldn't own this car without this type of resource.

Yep, I was here when John D owned the site. Some on the 993 board were in quite the cliquey bunch back then. I sold my 993 C4S somewhere around '05, had a 997.2 GT3 in '12 or '13 for a while. Now I'm frequenting RL a bit more since buying my wife a Macan GTS and myself researching the possibility of attaining a new Carrera T or GTS.
