Hi, was just wondering if anybody could kindly say what this plug behind the ignition is for?
I found it disconnected. I tried connecting it but couldn't see any difference with anything so I disconnected it again.
Should it be connected?

Plug it back in, leave key in ignition and open drivers door, see if you get a buzzer or chime, I think that is what it is for.

Check the wire colors to this switch. Buzzer Contact Ignition Switch.
