Good info, still deciding on which ones to get. Seems like the FVD has billet cups and they have the ***** on opposite ends - not sure if that will make any difference.

FVD is a great vendor and all their parts are very high quality in my experience. I think these will work just as well as the Tarett part, I can’t imagine you’d feel any difference.

Lots of good info in this thread, just looking to confirm the following:

- The Elephant "Bump Steer Tie Rod Kit" ($550) replaces both the inner and outer tie rods.

https://www.elephantracing.com/porsc...-rods-for-993/

- The Tarett "Front Tie Rod w/ Bump Steer" ($457) replaces only the outer tie rod and would be paired with Tarett (or ERP) "RSR Style" inner tie rods ($298.)

https://www.tarett.com/items/993-964...7#ITEM_7107120

If this is indeed the case, any reason I should go with the Tarett option for about $200 more?

The Elephant kit is a complete solution. The Tarrett Front Tie Rod with Bump Steer is for use with RS uprights, I don’t believe it’ll work with stock. The RSR inner tie rods pair with stock outers on stock uprights.

I chose the RSR inner with stock outer and have been happy with that combo on RS+10 ride height. I drove a car with the Elephant kit at RS ride height and it felt just as good. I think the Elephant kit is probably the best bet unless you have the RS uprights already installed.

Good point, I have a set of these sitting on my bench for my 964... I probably should've figured that out.
