Is ther rubber bushing in the steering tie rod bushings. Maybe near the steering rack.

Thanks in advance.

Oh, did are you saying that the C4 is the same as the RSR bush's.
Any know if there is amono ball aftermarket pice for this.
My car is a 91 turbo and it is ver loose up front so my plan is to ad the 993 steering rack brace, possably RSR rack rubber mount & new tie rod bushs.
Any other sugestions would be appricated.

It turns out that the 993 steering rack brace requires a 993 power steering rack to install it since the 964 rack's oil lines get in the way of the brace. I learned this the hard way after recommending it to a friend who bought the piece then found it did not fit his 964. The brace worked fine with my 964's manual steering rack.
The RSR/Carrera Cup racing rubber couplings are indeed of very hard rubber but they may be difficult to find and expensive. The C4 and Carrera RS use the same part which is a little harder rubber than a normal C2/Turbo piece and it is part number 964.347.058.00.

Yes, took a peek under my car today and came to the same conclusion. There are a bunch of power steering lines that looked in the way. Thanks for confirming.
I came up w two part numbers for a brace. It was in the recent Porsche 911 mag and it looked different. Maybe it would work.
However, looks like the rack is mounted very securely in a substantual aloy structer that bridges the tunel so I am not as optmistic.
Also, I belive I read that Porsche removed there recomendation that it be fitted to install 18's but not sure if I recall this corectly.
Again my car is a Turbo so the wheels might be a out a bit further. Also I am runing bit 245 18's in front. Could contribuit to the darting.
Also seems very loose when I turn the wheel.
Talked to Steven @ Renn Sport, great guy! Talked my out of ordering parts with out trying a quality alighnment first. Makes sence to me and he realy seems to love these cars.
Said to try 1/16 toe and .5 deg neg camber to 3/4-.
???
Thanks
