Stock shocks - oh the horror!

Stock shocks - oh the horror!
At some point in the near future my original shocks and strut inserts will need to be replaced, and my personal preference is stock.
Stock shocks are not easy to find though, Boge or Sachs. It looks to me like it's more bent toward a higher performance replacement.
I really don't care about "firming up the ride" or "tightening the suspension", really I don't. It's a Porsche 964, which to me means it's better than a host of other cars right out of the box.
I'll be 60 in a couple months, and a comfortable ride is more important to me for Sunday afternoon cruises with my girlfriend and wife (good thing for me it's the same chick ).
I do not do track or DE events more than once a year, if that.

If you can't find stock, the KW V1s are affordable and perfectly comfortable for road use. I have had some oil weep issues with them after 6 years and about 30,000 miles, however KW will rebuild them for about 30% of new cost. They are also reasonably adjustable. Just my 0.02¢

Stock components are readily available from Porsche. Buy from Sunset Imports, Suncoast. Typically offer discount for PCA membership as well.
Sunset has the front struts at $509 per side; over $120 cheaper per side than Pelican. Rear shocks are $260/side, about $70/side cheaper than Pelican.
Ha!

I think that Koni FSD is exactly what you're going to want. Much cheaper than the stock options and most likely better quality. Assuming that you're in the US, consider combining the new dampers with RoW springs. Same comfort, much improved ride height to enjoy the curves even more.
